It's not often that an uncirculated 40-year-old audience recording appears on Dime by the most-bootlegged band in history, particularly when the source was a biographer of the band. In August 2010, Luis Rey (author of a couple of bootographies of the band) provided his recording from the master tape of Led Zeppelin's Detroit appearance while promoting their second album in 1970. The original was posted by "lilioriverio" in a single-track file which was quickly banned, but Dime user "per_jonson" quickly picked up the ball, edited the recording into individual files and made an attempt to clean up the original recording, and reposted both the original file and his edit to Dime. The final result (while certainly better than the original) won't win any awards in terms of sound quality, but completists will certainly want to grab this one anyway. This only represents the first 45 minutes of the show (plus a 14-minute segment of the taper providing commentary), but still it's worth having if you grab everything in existence by the band.
