Black Sabbath [1975.08.05] Asbury Park, NJ (Complete Show) [SBD]

Black Sabbath - Asbury Park, NJ (Complete Show)
Convention Center, Asbury Park
Monmouth County, New Jersey, USA
Sabotage Tour - August 5th, 1975

Excellent Soundboard Recording
Encoded: 320 Kbps MP3

This is the original untooled, complete version. Doesn't need any remastering. It kills the official 'Live At Last' album; both in sound quality and performance. One of the best sounding bootlegs released.

Sabbaths' early albums just didn't capture the full on energy of the band, it seemed "canned" and somewhat light-weight compared to their live shows. Unbridled and raw, the band live had so much more impact. This is an excellent representation of that fact.

AC/DC is a band with lots of recordings widely spread over the Internet, this one being recorded live in the studio doesn't get much attention though, so here it is.
Tracks 1 to 12 are the sound files of the London VH1 concert from July 1996 including an interview and some songs rarely played. Sadly Angus guitar is very distant in the mix but overall this is fun to listen to.
Tracks 13 to 16 are from a small jam during an interview with Trust singer Bernie. This is from September 1995 on a French Radio, Fun Radio in Paris.

The muffled sound quality on A New Machine (part 1) and part of Terminal Frost is due to a tape skew problem during the recording of the show when I changed tapes.
At the end of the show Dave says "hope to see some of you tomorrow night".  There was not a Dallas show the next night.  There was one on the 21st.

The complete second night in Toronto and it is in excellent sound quality. The cover is again (as the JUNGLE FEVER CD) rather sloppy, and the blurry picture inside it is really as bad as it can get! Both Toronto shows are great and quite long. This CD and the JUNGLE FEVER CD are both worth the money. -BASSMAN

Excellent Stereo FM Broadcast
German Broadcast
Remastered by MOB
Encoded: 320 Kbps MP3

This stereo remaster was used for the audio part of the
'Live In Venezia' DVD from Cochon Production.

Track List: (Artwork Included)
Disc 1:
01 Intro
02 Shine On You Crazy Diamond
03 Learning To Fly
04 Yet Another Movie
05 Round And Around
06 Sorrow
07 Dogs Of War
08 On The Turning Away

Disc 2:
01 Time
02 The Great Gig In The Sky
03 Wish You Were Here - patched with t.v. broadcast version
04 Money
05 Another Brick In The Wall (pt. 2)
06 Comfortably Numb
07 Run Like Hell

The source for this remaster was a superb stereo recording, taped from a German FM radio rebroadcast of the concert in Venezia. Dozens of hours were spent, in order to manually clean every little FM noise (crackles, slight buzz,...) and make this remaster as close as posstible to the quality of an official release.
It has to be noted that the German radio rebroadcast cut the second half of Wish You Were Here. The missing portion was patched from a TV broadcast source. The intro and outro (fireworks) of the show were also taken from the TV broadcast, in order to make this recording more complete (the FM source ended rather abruptly after the last chord of Run Like Hell).
