Track List: (Artwork Included)
01) "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" - Since there were no complete Get Back-era takes, I created one out of three aborted attempts (GB 8.61, 8.69 and 8.63).
02) "Don't Let Me Down" - Mainly GB 3.54, with an intro created from GB 2.01.
03) "Hot As Sun" - An extended version, joining the lone GB take with a pitch-shifted McCartney LP version. Note that when I originally posted this on BootlegZone, the two halves were different keys; this is the corrected version.
04) "Junk" - A mono remix of the McCartney version, re-edited to a structure similar to that of the demo.
05) "Polythene Pam" - The lone GB take, with a *ton* of edits. John's confused performance had many stops and flubbed lines, ALL of which have been repaired for this seamless performance.
06) "Octopus's Garden" - The Ringo remake featuring AR vocals and a re-recorded backing. Unfortunately, no GB takes were usable.
07) "I Should Like To Live Up A Tree" - A Lennon improv. I borrowed the idea for this from the Japanese boot, though this copy is much higher quality than theirs, and more complete.
08) "Zero Is Just Another Even Number" - ....???
09) "What's The New Mary Jane" - The unreleased single take, which John trimmed down to three minutes. For which we should be thankful.
10) "Dirty Old Man" - Better known as "Mean Mr. Mustard". This is GB 14.32, trimmed to remove the "Madman" section.
11) "Proud As You Are" - As on the Japanese boot, Paul's rambling little improv "Song Of Love" takes the place of this nonexistent track. I've trimmed out a couple mistakes, however, and limited this lengthy tune to a mere two minutes.
12) "Watching Rainbows" - The standard performance, faded out to avoid having to switch to the poor quality sections.

["HOT AS SUN" REJECTS]
These were added to the Japanese boot, and weren't originally part of the Rolling Stone version. I have revised and remixed these tracks just as I did with the first set.

13) "My Kind Of Girl" - Allegedly an Abbey Road-era cover (along with "Portrait Of My Love", which I couldn't represent), the Japanese boot just slapped Matt Monro's original onto the disc. However, they ended his rendition with snippets of Paul's "Oo You" to show lyrical similarities, so I decided to use Paul's song in its entirely, in my own mono remix.
14) "Suicide" - Anachronistic, yes, but the Beatles version from this era is far too brief to be used. This is the complete piano demo in the highest quality yet, supplied by Beatlegs Podcast proprietor DinsdaleP.
15) "You Know My Name" - Just the single version. Not much to do with this track, really.
16) "Because" - My own remix of the AR version. Subtle differences, but effective when you spot them!
17) "Across The Universe" - My own remix of the Past Masters version, mainly eliminating the little girls. I also moved the bird sounds to the end, because they provide a great segue into...
18) "Lullaby For A Lazy Day" - An outfake which, pitch-shifted to sound like John's voice (as the old Cheatles website had done), luckily joins the key of "Across The Universe"!
19) "Have You Heard The Word" - Why the Japanese boot retreaded this outfake, I'm not sure; but nevertheless, here's the old Fut track again, in the best quality yet, from the official Bee Gees rarities compilation 'Maybe Someone Is Digging Underground'.
20) "Madman" - A great unreleased Lennon track from the GB era, with the volume normalized throughout. (The original copy had a couple brief surges.)
21) "One After 909" - A re-edit of GB 8.20, to remove a couple glitches and mistakes. I dug through every take of this song for this project, and this was definitely the best of the bunch.
22) "Oh! I Had A Dream" - A prototype of "I Want You," featuring Billy Preston improvising a few lyrics. This jam became very repetitive, so I trimmed about half of it out, normalizing the volume along the way.
23) "Four Knights In Moscow" - The liners of the Japanese boot claim that this never existed; but it certainly did. This supposed AR outtake was nothing more than a bootlegger's phony title for Ringo's "Early 1970," which is what I used here in a mono remix.

Of all the audio projects I've worked on, I consider this to be my masterpiece, its release coming after four years of painstaking editing work and anal-retentive remixing done to get *just* the right feel and flow to the disc. (...More)
