Morrissey previews tracks from new album! Lauren Laverne launches this year’s 6 Music Live, at the BBC’s Maida Vale studios, with Morrissey. Morrissey recorded four Maida Vale Sessions for John Peel alone, when he was with The Smiths, and then went on to forge a successful solo career with his debut solo album in 1988. All ten of his solo efforts landed in the Top 10 on the UK album charts, including three entries at Number One. This November he releases Low in High-School, his first studio album since 2014.
