This was the first of two nights of performances at the Johanneshovs Isstadion in Stockholm, Sweden. It was The Beatles' second visit to the country within a year.
The group took the 11.10am flight from London Airport to Stockholm, where more than 3,000 fans were waiting to welcome them to Sweden.
The Beatles performed two shows on each of the two night, at 6.45pm and 10pm. Also on the bill were The Kays, The Moonlighters, The Streaplers, Jimmy Justice, The Mascots and The Shanes.
During the first show both John Lennon and Paul McCartney received electric shocks from unearthed microphones. (...More)
