Frank Sinatra [1976.04.01] The Hungry Years (Tarrytown, NY) [SBD]

Frank Sinatra - The Hungry Years
Orchestra Conducted by Bill Miller
Westchester Premier Theatre
Tarrytown, New York, USA
April 1st, 1976

Soundboard Recording
Encoded: 320 Kbps MP3

Sinatra played his first engagement at the Westchester Premier Theatre in Tarrytown, NY. It would turn out to be an infamous gig for Sinatra, because ten days later he was photographed with several mobsters backstage after a performance. That photo would help fuel the speculation that Sinatra was in the mob.

Anyway, we have excellent sound here, with Bill Miller conducting. Unusual with this set is a ballad version of 'Imagination', arranged by Nelson Riddle. We also get a lovely performance of 'If' in which Sinatra is accompanied by Al Viola on guitar.
This set of songs also includes an extra performance of 'The Hungry Years'.
