Collection of demos for the Avalon album, with a number of songs that weren't ultimately included.
All the songs are in the same basic format:
- a basic backing track, with Bryan Ferry vocalizing along to the melody with barely a lyric to articulate
- quite mind-boggling that this is how these songs evolved, the music consistently coming before any attempt at lyrics. The sound quality is very good.
