First ever performance of a newly written 'Drive In Saturday'.
There are a few misconceptions about this recording. First of all, while everyone agrees that is was recorded on 17th November 1972, there are varied opinions as to the venue (Jai Alai Fronton, Pirate's Cove, Miami; Fort Lauderdale; I've even seen Tampa given). The correct venue is Pirate's World (an amusement park) in Dania, Florida.
Also, a second misconception is that it includes the debut performance of Drive In Saturday. It's generally accepted now that that was probably in New Orleans, three days earlier. -BootlegZone.com
