The latest work of WENDY label is the title which recorded San Diego performance on May 28, 1973, with high sound quality sound board. QZA is a valuable Zeppelin sound board sound source connected to the birth of Bonn. Permanent preservation of a beautiful picture / disk specification A tightly pressed board. Japanese-style attaching.

Great release from Wendy of this excellent soundboard recording. Their treatment to the tape is excellent. It sounds like they have applied simulated stereo to the instruments and the vocals are nice and clear. For me this is better sounding than the Godfather release “Quick Diet” which is closer to the original tape but is dry and lacks dynamics in comparison. Another tick for Wendy.

May 28, 1973 San Diego performance The titles of the May 28, 1973 San Diego performance recorded on the soundboard have arrived from the WENDY label. Speaking of the 1973 US tour, it is a large-scale tour that is positioned as a watershed of Zeppelin, which contains the movie "Eternal Poetry". Considering the fact that the next tour had to wait until 1975, and the process that made it difficult to develop improvisation only while it was standardized due to stage production etc., the huge Zeppelin freed the huge body. It seems that it was the last tour that I was able to control. In fact, in 1973, Robert's decline began to be seen everywhere due to many years of overuse of his throat, and it is also a tour where there is a big difference in performance depending on the performance. It seems that 1973 was such a tour that made me feel the end of Zeppelin's adolescence, which is based on the belief that it is expressed not only by musical instruments but also by the whole body.  (...More)

Chris Walker (Walpole 67) has written with fond memories of the Beatles Concert held at Stowe in 1964, he writes:
“I remember David Moores (Grenville 64) arranged the concert and paid the Beatles £100 for the performance. He charged Stoics 10 shillings (50p) each and sold 240 tickets, making a profit of £20. He spent the whole lot on a meal for the Beatles and his chums in the Tuck Shop.

The Beatles turned up quite late for the concert, so played a little extra time for us to compensate. And what a concert! They played their songs from their first LP Please Please Me. As The Beatles made their way to Candlestick Park, Paul McCartney asked their press officer Tony Barrow to make a recording of the concert on audio cassette, using a hand-held recorder.

The cassette lasted 30 minutes on each side, and, as Barrow didn't flip it during the show, the recording cut off during final song Long Tall Sally.
