Bob Dylan [2017.06.04] Dylan's Nobel Prize Lecture

Bob Dylan's Nobel Prize Lecture
The Swedish Academy

Pre-recorded in Los Angeles on June 4th, 2017.

Bob Dylan has finally delivered the lecture he needed to give in order to keep the prize money for his Nobel Prize for literature. The veteran star won the 8m krona ($900,000, £727,000) prize in October but did not collect the award until the end of March at a private event. Dylan had until June 10, 2017 to deliver the lecture or forfeit the prize money. It has taken him until now to issue his taped lecture, which cites Buddy Holly as an influence. -BBC

O_o....
Remember back in 2009 the Norwegian Nobel Committee announced an award to Barack Obama; citing Obama's promotion of nuclear nonproliferation and a "new climate" in international relations even before doing absolutely nothing prior to and (as we now know) since that award was given to him. Nobel's creditably and prestige went down the shitter that day. "Hey (_put_name_here_) you have just been chosen to receive a Nobel award." "Pfff.... I'll pass, thanks" .....o_O
