Don't let the "dregs of humanity" cover photo fool you, this is one amazing collection of the post-Capitol years. I don't know where these tapes were dug up but interesting stuff on here like the fuzzed-out "My Solution" alt. backing track.
Sounding like a weird combination of the band SUICIDE and some acid trip flashback. Billy Hinsche (of Billy, Dino, & Desi fame - Carl's brother-in-law) doing lead vocals instead of the absent Al Jardine on "Honkin' Down The Highway", this may be better than the released version. A wonderful raw demo of "The Night Was So Young".
