Revelation is something of a rarity. This vinyl release is of importance as it
includes nine unreleased songs which come from the periods of Morrissey's
first three solo albums, 'Viva Hate', 'Kill Uncle' and 'Your Arsenal'.

This terrific and curious LP contains studio outtakes which originally never made it onto the final releases of Morrissey albums. It has superb front and back sleeve artwork (see photos) and the track listing consists of out-takes from studio sessions as follows: Side A - 'Striptease With A Difference' (Kill Uncle sessions), 'Please Help The Cause Against Loneliness' (Viva Hate sessions), 'Fantastic Bird' (Your Arsenal sessions) and 'You Should Have Been Nice To Me' (Southpaw Grammar sessions). Side B - 'Lifeguard On Duty' (Viva Hate sessions), 'Happy Lovers United' (Bona Drag sessions), 'Born To Hang' (Kill Uncle sessions), 'Oh Phony' (Bona Drag sessions) and 'Honey You Know Where To Find Me' (Southpaw Grammar sessions). Since the release of this LP in 2009, the re-issue of 'Bona Drag' included Tracks 1, 2 and 4 of Side B and a demo version of Track 2 of Side A In addition, the re-mastered version of 'Southpaw Grammar' contained versions of Tracks 3 and 4 of Side A and Track 5 of Side B. Despite these now-official appearances, some of the included track versions differ from the ones on this 'Revelation' LP, and, what is more, the tracks 'Striptease With A Difference' and 'Born To Hang' are not released elesewhere.
