Led Zeppelin - Cabala (8 CD Bootleg Box Set) [SBD]

Led Zeppelin - Cabala (8CD)
(1995 Osoz : 001/8)
Eight (8) Disc Box Set

Soundboard & Audience Recordings
Total of 113 Tracks
Encoded: 320 Kbps MP3

This is a box set that has recordings from before the formation of Led Zeppelin right through until the Knebworth Silver Clef performance in 1990. It comprises a selection of previously expensive releases into a single set. The soundboard quality is excellent and creates a retrospective of Led Zeppelin's unofficial and unreleased body of work. -musicbrainz.org

Track List: (Full Artwork Included)
Disc 1:
01. I’m Confused [Live 1968]
One of the first numbers Led Zeppelin added to their set after beginning their career
as the 'New Yardbirds'. They soon changed the name of the song to 'Dazed And Confused'.
Recorded in 1968 at the Anderson Theatre in New York City during one of Jimmy Page's
  final performances with The Yardbirds.
02. Train Kept A Rollin’  [Live 1968]
Recorded live in New York in 1968 with Jimmy Page and The Yardbirds.
03. She Just Satisfies [1965]
The first solo release from James Patrick Page. Originally released in 1965 under the
name of Jimmy Page, this record is now incredibly scarce. The song was written and produced
by Jimmy Page. The track features Jimmy on all the instruments and lead vocals.
04. Keep Movin’ [1965]
An R&B instrumental is the B-side to 21-year old Jimmy Page’s first solo release.
The single was issued only in England on Fontana Records.
05. You Better Run [1966]
The first recording featuring a 19-year old Robert Anthony Plant. The single was released
in 1966 and issued under the name of Plant’s group 'Listen'. The track is a cover version
of a 'Rascals' tune which was later recorded by Pat Benatar.
06. Everybody’s Gonna Say [1966]
The B-side to Robert Anthony Plant’s first solo single. The band originally
called themselves 'The Tennessee Teens', but changed their name to 'Listen'.
This is the first track crediting 'Robert Plant' as songwriter.
07. Our Song [1967]
Robert Anthony Plant’s first solo single issued under his own name. The single was
released only in England in mid-1967.
08. Long Time Coming [1967]
The third and final Robert Anthony Plant solo release before joining Led Zeppelin.
The track was recorded by the 'Band Of Joy' in late-1967. The group included
a 19-year old drummer named 'John Henry Bonham'.
09. I’ve Got A Secret [1967]
The B-side to the 'Band of Joy’s' only recording. This track also features
  John “Bonzo” Bonham on drums.
10. Goodnight Sweet Josephine
The A-side to the Yardbirds' final recording with Jimmy Page. The song has never appeared
on any Yardbirds album and features Jimmy’s first experiments with a phased guitar.
11. Think About It [1968]
The B-side to The Yardbirds' last single. Released in 1968, the track was never
included on any album and is quite scarce. If you listen to Page’s guitar solo,
you’ll hear where he got the idea for the middle of 'Dazed And Confused'.
12. Hey Hey What Can I Do
Is the only track Led Zeppelin released as a single, but never included on any of
their LP’s. The song was originally released as a B-side to 'Immigrant Song'.
13. Psychodasies
One of three Yardbirds tracks featuring Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page on guitars.
This track has never been released in America, or included on any Yardbirds album.
14. Happenings Ten Years Times Ago
The first Yardbirds track to feature both Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page on dual lead guitar.
15. Stroll On
The only Yardbirds track specifically recorded for a film. The song was intended for
the 1967 movie 'Blow Up'. The cut is basically 'Train Kept A Rollin' with different lyrics.
The tune includes both Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page on guitars.
16. My Babe Left Me [1963]
One of the earliest recording sessions featuring Jimmy Page on guitar.
The single written by Arthur Cruddop is a remake of an Elvis Presley 'Sun Records' classic.
The track was recorded in early 1963 with Dave Berry and the Cruisers.
17. A Certain Girl [1964]
Recorded by 'The First Gear' features Jimmy Page on guitar in 1964. The tune was popular with
the British groups of the era including 'The Yardbirds', who also recorded it with Eric Clapton.
18. Leave My Kitten Alone [1964]
The B-side to 'A Certain Girl'. It’s an outstanding British pop record. In 1964 the song
was recorded by several British bands including 'The Beatles'. The session was produced
by Shel Talmy who also produced records for 'The Kinks' and 'The Who'.
19. Surprise Surprise [1965]
Recorded by Page in 1965. The record was released by 'Lulu & The Luvvers'. The track is
a cover version of an often overlooked 'Rolling Stones' number.  Lulu later went on to
fame as a pop singer with songs like 'To Sir With Love', but she began her career as
an R&B singer with Jimmy Page backing her up on guitar. (Note: Godwin states that Lulu
  is not performing this version.)
20. How Do You Feel [1966]
One of the final recordings featuring Jimmy Page as a session guitarist.
Recorded in 1966 by 'The Primitives', this track captures the true raw sound
and feel of British rock bands of the era.
21. Jim’s Blues
Released on an album by PJ Proby entitled 'Three Week Hero'. It was the first record including
all the members of Led Zeppelin. The album was recorded several months before 'Led Zeppelin 1'.
