This new “Definitive” Boston 73 release using the direct analogue master as opposed the DAT master from the previous Sigma release (Boston 1973).

The result is a crisper cleaner recording but only just. The earlier version from Sigma converted the stronger channel to mono. The sound result is subjective as the original sigma edition seems to have a power behind it but this one certainly sounds excellent as the tape does. I wouldn’t rush out to get this although it is a must have show and a slight upgrade.
